Is Olive & Rae jewelry handmade?
Yes. Each Olive & Rae piece is handmade in small batches with thoughtfully chosen materials, including natural gemstones, silk thread, gold findings, and antiqued gold chain. Because many of our materials are natural and each piece is made by hand, slight variations are part of what makes every piece unique.
What materials do you use?
Our pieces are made using natural gemstones, silk thread, 14k gold findings, and brass chain with a 12k antiqued gold finish. We choose materials for both their beauty and the way they feel together.
Will my jewelry tarnish?
Our jewelry is made with materials that will not tarnish with normal wear. That said, we recommend treating your pieces with a little care to keep them looking their best.
How does brass age?
Brass naturally develops more depth and character over time. Its warm golden tone may gradually deepen and develop a subtle patina, making each piece feel a little more unique the longer you wear it. This natural change is what gives each piece a beautifully lived-in feel.
